Gratitude, Boosts Health and Wellness

GRATITUDE

Gratitude is a positive emotion that can make you happy and change your attitude about life – like an emotional reset button.

Studies show that when you stop and “count your blessings,” you not only shift from feeling bad to feeling very good, but there are amazing health benefits as well. Practicing gratitude regularly creates wellness of mind, body and soul.

Here are some tricks for cultivating Gratitude for Wellness

Be conscious about your surroundings.

Notice new things you’re thankful for everyday. You might always be happy for your great family, friends in your heart buy you might not be saying that. Just start practicing gratitude by saying those simple words to your loved ones that “I’m grateful that I have you in my life” Do this week after week so that it becomes part of your habit.

Make your thank you journal.

Express in writing your moments for all that you feel good for. Get specific by writing “Today my husband gave me a shoulder rub when he knew I was really stressed” or “My sister invited me over for dinner so I didn’t have to cook after a long day.” Opening your eyes to more of the world around you can deeply enhance your thanksgiving practice.

Practice will give you the change!

Just be optimistic about the benefits of this new habit. Don’t limit yourself—if journaling is feeling stale, try out new and creative ways to track your grateful moments.

Be Social About Your Practice

Our relationships with others are the greatest determinant of our happiness. So it makes sense to focus our mind on people for whom we’re thankful rather than circumstances or material items will enhance the benefits we experience. Write a post on your Facebook wall to someone who had an impact on you whom you’ve never properly thanked. You could also share the day’s grateful moments around the dinner table. The conversations that follow may give you even more reasons to give thanks.

We see the world as our inner reflection!

Gratitude makes people like us. It makes us nicer, more trusting, more social, and more appreciative. As a result, it helps us make more friends, deepen our existing relationships, and improve our marriage.

Thank Yourself!

Offer hearty thanks to your almighty for offering you a beautiful life, giving you the unique qualities to depict yourself. Say thanks to yourself for being kind, accommodating, sacrificing and loving for your loved ones.

Be Patient With Yourself!

Changes occur slowly. It takes several months of continuous practice for the largest benefits to appear.

Incorporating gratitude into your life is easy—and fun!
