To be open-minded can be really tough sometimes. We all come with our baggage of set beliefs and values and, throughout our lives, tend to surround ourselves with people who share the same values and beliefs. Therefore, it can be difficult when we’re faced with new ideas that challenge our belief system, instinctively we close ourselves and judge a situation or fact irrationally leaving no room for a second thought.
