Natural Beauty with Ayurveda
Beauty consciousness and the knowledge of the application of herbs, minerals, and animals products are as old phenomena as human existence. The concept of using herbs for beautification is well defined in Ayurveda.

Ayurveda has been prescribing medicinal plants like- Haridra, Manjistha, Sariba, Chandana, Amalaki, Gritkumari, Babul, Lavanga, Sikakai, Aritha, Bhringraj, etc for beautification of the skin, hair, teeth, nails, etc. Diet also has a special role to improve and maintain the beauty of an individual.

There are procedures like Panchakarma that are employed for the beautification of the skin.

Ayurveda’s concept of beauty has a holistic approach that follows five approaches of treatment to look and feel beautiful inside out and that includes:
Herbs and herbal remedies
Food and diet
Ayurvedic massage and bodywork
Yoga exercises
Daily lifestyle routine

Good health is the primary factor that contributes to beauty, in Ayurveda, and that is based on freeing your body from “Ama” or toxins. Getting rid of this toxin means that your digestive fire(Agni) is strong. A strong Agni helps to restore nutrition at a cellular level thereby aiding good health and natural beauty from within.
